Dan Bourke is a clinical specialist physiotherapist who has over 9 years of experience working within his specialist field. He gained his MSc in physiotherapy from King’s College London in 2007. Prior to this Dan completed a Sports & Exercise Science degree at Loughborough University.
He currently works privately in our central London clinics and has NHS clinics with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. His experience in the private sector, NHS and sporting environment has enabled him to build a wealth of experience with a wide variety of conditions. These different sectors have allowed Dan to build excellent relationships with leading medical practitioners and consultants who lead in the field of orthopaedics and sports medicine.
He has excellent manual therapy skills and is acupuncture trained. His background in Sport Science & Exercise allows him to apply the exercise and physiology principles to his rehabilitation ensuring each patient gains an individualised exercise programme that is specific to their personal demands and condition.
In his time Dan has worked with elite sport athletes including at Premiership football clubs (Queen’s Park Rangers FC), through to amateur and recreational athletes.
Dan is well known for building excellent relationships with his patients that helps to make rehabilitation fun whilst ensuring that each patient returns to their optimal function in the shortest possible time.
